FAWS - ANTONYM EP

Give it a listen.

Harriet and Gentleman Jack, 2010, by Jooney Woodwar
The Taylor Wessing photography prize exhibition is on right now at the National Portrait Gallery, until February 12

My niece Julia Jackson, now Mrs Herbert. Julia Margaret Cameron, 1862
This is what I look at every night before drifting off to sleep. I found this A3 print framed in a neglected charity shop in Hendon for four quid.

Marcel Duchamp covered in shaving lather by Man Ray
These two lovely Dada gentlemen were close friends and collaborated on various projects throughout the 1910’s and 20’s. The French artist Marcel Duchamp met American photographer Man Ray when he moved to New York in 1915, where they co-founded the art organisation Société Anonyme, along with collector Katherine Dreier. Marcel Duchamp figured in many photographs by Ray, in some of them famously dressed up as his female alter ego Rrose Selavy. Ray and Duchamp also collaborated on the 1920 work Dust Breeding, a photographic document of The Large Glass after it had been left to collect dust for half a year in Paris while Duchamp was living in New York.
